FlowBell Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

FlowBell is a digital sticky note. Your messages are automatically deleted within 48 hours of the alarm time. We keep no message history, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.

What we collect

What we never collect

Your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, calendar or microphone. We do not use advertising identifiers, run advertising, build marketing profiles, or sell your data.

How long we keep your messages

Each FlowBell is scheduled for deletion 24 hours after its alarm time and is permanently removed within 48 hours. This happens automatically. Neither you nor your partner can retrieve a message once deleted, and we hold no archive. You can also delete a FlowBell yourself at any time by swiping it away in the Feed tab, which removes it immediately for both people.

How FlowBell delivers

When both phones are on the same Wi-Fi network, FlowBell may deliver alarms directly between devices over your local network using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity. Otherwise delivery goes through Firebase Cloud Messaging. Pairing records and account data are kept for as long as you use FlowBell. If you unpair, the pairing record is removed.

Third party services

Google Firebase for anonymous authentication, database storage and push notification delivery. RevenueCat for in-app purchase validation. Apple for payment processing and push notification transport. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your card details.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing support@flowbell.app. You can unpair at any time in Settings.

Data security

All data is encrypted in transit. Anonymous IDs cannot be traced back to individuals.

Children

FlowBell is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above.
